Maybank Indonesia again showed concern to improve education in Bali by holding capacity building workshops and critical thinking workshops for high school / vocational students in Gianyar and Klungkung. This activity was held at the Gianyar Cultural Center and was attended by more than 85 students from 13 high schools / vocational schools from the two districts.

This activity is part of a CSR program for the Balinese community that has supported the implementation of Maybank Marathon Bali from 2012 to 2019. Maybank Indonesia believes the Balinese community has an important role in supporting the success of Maybank Marathon Bali. For this reason, Maybank Indonesia is committed and has a social responsibility to support the development of the Balinese community through social activities.

A one-day capacity building and critical thinking workshop was invited by Fajar Budi Laksono, CEO of Dtech-Engineering. This activity is in line with one of Maybank Indonesia's CSR pillars in the field of education, with the aim that students get new knowledge and perspectives in planning their lives and achieving what they aspire to. In addition, participants are expected to be ready to face the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0 that encourage disruption in various fields.

Dtech-Engineering is a mechanical design company with a worldwide scope of mechanical engineering, mechanical designing, product design, and finite element analysis. Dtech-Engineering's products have been marketed to America and Europe. Even 99% of the products produced are marketed abroad and the rest is for domestic use. The company was founded by Arfian Fuadi, design engineering graduate of the National Vocational High School (SMKN). Until now, Dtech-Engineering has dozens of employees, most of whom are vocational graduates.

The CR programs that we carry out are always to improve the capacity and capability of beneficiaries. It is hoped that this program can build the motivation of students in Gianyar and Klungkung. "

By holding this capacity building and critical thinking workshop, Maybank hopes to be able to encourage students to be more motivated in planning their future while also adding new knowledge and perspectives to life.
