Denpasar Festival 2009 - Embracing Tomorrow

Denpasar, Bali - Denpasar Festival, formerly known as the Gajah Mada Town Festival, was officially opened this afternoon, Monday, December 28, 2009 at Seputaran Catur Muka (point 0 km of Denpasar city ) and at the Gajah Mada Street. Denpasar Festival scheduled to last until December 31, 2009.

 
 

The theme of this year is "Embracing Tomorrow", as assertiveness and that though opened for calls, Denpasar remain selective and adaptive to the development era and believes that all potential and the cultural heritage symbolized through art, culture and creativity are the values of the capital base for future steps to achieve better future.

 
 

In the Denpasar festival will be presented varied program of events including exhibitions, seminars and a variety of arts and culture that are divided into six zones, namely Denpasar Culinary Fairs, National Florikultura of Denpasar, Denpasar Great Sale, Denpasar Handmade Textile Festival, Community, education and public services Zone, and also Art and Culture Zone.
