Bali DWE formally established in Bali on December 12, 2009, but its founding ideas already discussed since July 2009 based on the experience of ecological tourism which is being done by the JED (Village Ecotourism Network) since June 2002. DWE, in Balinese literally means the common gift of God that must be guarded and sacred. | | | |

Bali DWE has the interest in the formation of the fair order of rural community life in Bali and capable of addressing the development of community tourism in order to increase the welfare and preservation of culture and environment.
